Roger E. Timmerman, 62, Oakland, died on Sunday, May 21, 2017, at his home. According to his wishes, there will be no visitation or service, and private interment will be in the Deer Park Cemetery. Albert C. Bender, 86, Oakland died on Saturday, May 20, 2017, at his home. Family and friends were received at the Gortner Amish Church, Oakland, where a funeral service was held on Monday, May 22, with Bishop Alvin Beachy officiating. Interment followed in the Gortner Amish Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Garrett County, P.O. Box 271, Oakland, MD 21550. Victoria A. Regnier, 94, Oakland, died on Friday, May 19, 2017, at Cherry Hill Assisted Living in Accident. Friends will be received at St. Peter the Apostle Church, 208 S 4th St., Oakland, on Tuesday, May 23, from 1 to 2 p.m.,after which time a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Fr. Doug Kenney. Interment will follow in the Garrett County Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Garrett County, P.O. Box 271, Oakland, MD 21550. Teets, 68, Eglon, W.Va., died on Wednesday, May 17, 2017, at Garrett Medical Regional Center, Oakland, Friends were received at Maple Spring Church of the Brethren, Eglon. A funeral service was held on Saturday May 20, at Maple Spring Church of the Brethren, with Rev. Deborah Strawser officiating. Interment followed in the Maple Spring Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Lung Association of West Virginia, P.O. Box 3980, Charleston, WV 25339. Mason S. Proudfoot, 54, Covington, Ky., Charleston, W.Va., and Oakland, died  in Charleston, W.Va., on Sunday, May 21, 2017. Andrew J. Yoder, 30, New Kensington, Pa., and Accident, died on Sunday, May 21, 2017, at his residence in New Kensington. Friends will be received at the Cherry Glade Mennonite Church on Thursday, May 25, from 5 to 8 p.m. A service will be conducted in the church on Friday, May 26, at 1 p.m., with Pastor Barry Maust officiating. Friends may call at the church one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in the Cherry Glade Cemetery. Newman Funeral Home, Grantsville, is in charge of arrangements.
Hilda M. Billeck, 67, Terra Alta, W.Va,, died on Saturday, May 20, 2017, at Dennett Road Manor Nursing Home, Oakland. At Hilda’s request, her body will be cremated. No services are planned at this time.
